Brendon Naidoo: DJ Zinhle’s Man Released On Bail With Conditions

DJ Zinhle’s boyfriend and businessman Brendon Naidoo was released on R60,000 bail after appearing in the Alexandra Magistrates court on Tuesday. The hunky businessman appeared before the court on fraud charges, which he allegedly committed through his forex trading business.

A lot of pensioners allegedly lost their hard earned money while investing in the business through him. Subsequently, some of those who lost their money opened fraud cases against Naidoo after he allegedly failed to pay them the profits he promised them. While it was expected for the state to oppose Naidoo’ bail application with the investigating officer reading out the contents of the docket, prosecutor Jimmy Shongwe immediately asked for a R100,000 bail.

However, Naidoo’s defence counsel asked for a lesser amount R50,000. He said the amount would be immediately available should his client be given bail. Notwithstanding, Magistrate Rainer Boshoff granted Naidoo R60,000 bail. The bail also came with conditions that he must report to Sandton Police Station twice a week – Mondays and Fridays, while the case was postponed until May 5 for further investigation.

Brendon Naidoo was arrested earlier this month and had to spend a week behind bars while waiting for his case to be heard in the court. Police spokesman Lieutenant Kay Makhubela confirmed that the hunky businessman and boyfriend to the popular DJ has been in police custody since he was arrested earlier this month.

“I can confirm that he appeared in court on Monday and has been remanded in custody. He will remain in custody until next week,” he said. The self-proclaimed businessman allegedly scammed his accusers of as much as R15-million. He apparently convinced them to allow him to invest their cash in forex trade to make profits.
